The objective of the Placement Office is to attract the best
recruiters in the hospitality & allied sectors so that our
students find meaningful placement in the vast and high
growth service industries.
School of Hotel management-ITER has an active Training &
Placement division headed by the Director and assisted by a
senior faculty.
A Human Resource Consultant firm
has also been empanelled to do various studies relating to
the skill sets of various hospitality positions. The HR
Organisation is also assisting in studying employment trends
in this sector and we are incorporating any perceptible
shifts in job requirements into our course delivery.
A database of potential
employers in all sectors that relate to the hospitality
business has been made and the process of contacting them
and discussing various training and placement possibilities
are being explored.
The Placement office conducts personality development
classes and individual counseling is done with students on a
regular basis.
In its very first internship year, the Institute has tied up
with the major hotel groups for training of its students.
